Pallet nets are a versatile packaging material that is mainly used for the transport of natural products and plant products on Euro pallets or disposable pallets. The net is made of a fine-meshed, breathable and tear-resistant plastic (HDPE), which offers a good alternative to stretch film if the latter is not suitable.
Pallet nets are used, for example:
- to pack fruit and vegetables that may evaporate moisture after palletizing
- to pack potatoes, which must be protected from cold and moisture
- to pack ornamental plants and flowers that must be protected from damage
- to pack firewood to dry after transport
- suitable for manual processing
